Mid-Size Capacity Cryogenic Shot-Blast Deflashing Machine
The Model SCC 1505 is our most popular mid-size cryogenic deflashing machine. With a 1.5 cubic-foot basket capacity, the 1505 is compact enough to handle small-run batches yet powerful enough to process larger production runs. This versatility lets the machine grow with your company as production ramps up.
Who the SCC 1505 is for
The SCC 1505 cryogenic deflashing machine is built for molders and original equipment manufacturers who need precise, repeatable flash removal without damaging delicate parts. It is ideal for shops that have outgrown contract deflashing and want to bring the process in-house.
What it deflashes
Using liquid nitrogen, high-speed rotation, and shot-blasted plastic media, the SCC 1505 removes flash from a wide range of molded rubber, silicone, and plastic parts. Common applications include O-rings, seals, gaskets, grommets, and bushings made from materials such as silicone, EPDM, nitrile, and neoprene. The contained basket design keeps even the smallest parts secure.
Built to last
Every SCC 1505 is constructed in the USA with a 304 stainless steel cabinet, shafts, transfer auger, and separator. A Siemens PLC controller and 12-inch color touch panel make operation straightforward, while energy-efficient inverter-duty motors keep running costs down. It reaches -205°F using liquid nitrogen and stores up to 1,000 parts programs.
Why choose Cryogenic Systems & Parts
For more than 30 years, molders worldwide have trusted CSP for cryogenic deflashing equipment built to perform and endure. Not sure the 1505 is the right fit? Try it first through our contract deflashing service, or learn more about how the cryogenic deflashing process works.
